CAPE WEST COAST TOUR
One day excursion from Cape Town and back. Overnight tours could be arranged for a maximum of four passengers. You will be informed about the history etc by the tourist guide/driver. Feel free discuss changes. The itinerary would include your choice of the following attractions:- Visitor's centre and nature reserve of the Koeberg Nuclear Power Facility (the only one in Africa), (1hr).
- !Khwa ttu ("Bushman") San Culture and Education Centre, with game drive and ethnic crafts (3hrs).
The town of Darling, with local attractions and crafts. In Spring (August and September), a drive through the massed wild flowers in the fields is highly recommended (1-2hrs).
West Coast National Park during Spring for flowers, game and sea views (4-5hrs).
West Coast Fossil Park and dig site (2hrs).
The towns of Langebaan, Saldanha Bay and Paternoster for sea and sea food.
Passengers are met and returned to their accommodation. Terms: cash (ZAR) only.
Fees per day include admissions but not meals and accommodation.
CAPE PENINSULA TOUR
One day tour, starting from and returning to your accommodation in Cape Town or vicinity. At least the following attractions will be included:A drive along the False Bay coastline, with informative stops at Muizenberg and the Cape Penguin breeding colony at Simons Town (Boulders Beach).
Drive to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Funicular to the top is optional.
Return via the Atlantic seaboard and Chapman's Peak toll road, if not closed for maintenance. Alternately the Ou Kaapse Weg route.
Visit the fishing harbour, Hout Bay.
If time permits, one of the following may be added, according to your interest:

Weather permitting, a Cable Car ride to the top of Table Mountain.

Garden Route & Kannaland Tours
Personal tailored tours of this popular destination are adapted according to your budget, as well as particular interests and time available. Consider the following options as a basis, and more surprises could be slipped in!Starting from Cape Town, we take the highway over Sir Lowry's Pass and the apple growing district of Elgin toward Caledon. Cape Augulhas, the most southern tip of Africa, may be visited as a detour, otherwise we continue to Mossel Bay, staying over there. (A private game Reserve could optionally be booked, and paid for separately.) After a visit to the Diaz Museum Complex, board the steam train for George, where you will be met after a two hour trip. Take the old passes road through indigenous forests to Wilderness and the lakes district.
Knysna warrants a stay of at least one to two full days, as a cruise on the estuary (optional extra) and shopping is popular. A scenic drive or two, to the Heads and Belvedere are recommended.
Plettenberg Bay has many attractions such as hikes (and easy waks), animal sanctuaries, river cruises and the Tsitsikama Forest and Nature's Valley. Plan at least one full day here. Bungy jumping and Canopy tours are optional!
Kannaland is the Oudthoorn area also known as the Little Karoo. it is famous for ostrich and wildlife show farms, the Cango Caves, good wines and interesting history. We will stay at a guest farm where real country hospitality may be experienced, in a beautiful quiet valley with water cascading outside your cottage. Nearby are the Red Stone hills, where hikes may be organised..
From here we may continue our journey to Port Elizabeth (where the Addo Game Reserve is well worth a visit), or return via Route 62 through Montagu with its hot springs and fruit growing farms, to Worcester (Succulent Gardens) and Cape Town.

During Flower season, there are spectacular flower shows, such as in Clanwilliam in the last weekend of August.
For the biggest succulent nursery in the world, visit Vanrhynsdorp. Nieuwoudtville is famous for its flowering bulbs. Ancient rock art can be seen in Cederberg.
This semi desert area has many hidden treasures, not only diamonds and a rich history from pre-historic times, but it is mostly known for the wonderful wild flower displays in Spring!
Very special, though, are its people; close to the earth, and known for their story-telling.
Come and meet them personally, taste their cuisine and enjoy the quiet starry nights and vast open spaces. Be prepared to be surprised!
Follow the route of the old mule train from Okiep to Port Nolloth and visit the diamond-rich West Coast.
Travel north to Alexander Bay and inland to the amazing geology of the Richtersveld.
